From Jan 1 onwards AMAIDI Volunteering in India hosts it’s own taxi service. The organization has purchased a spacious Toyota Innova to transport upto 7 volunteers to and from the airport, project- or travel destination within India.
If a volunteer would like to be picked up using our car service, please contact: info@amaidi.org or call +91-9626565007, if possible minimum 48 hours in advance.

Since Feb 2008 AMAIDI has a new office staff: Mr. Bala Murali (29), Master in Graphic Design and Social Work. Bala lives, with his newly wedded wife, in Muthialpet, about 15 minutes drive from AMAIDI office. Bala has ample experience in working with NGO’s, he knows how to approach our partners and is a very pleasant person to work with! AMAIDI is very happy to have Bala in its midst and hopes to work with him for a long time. Welcome, Bala!

BBC on South-East AsiaThe AMAIDI Foundation is AMAIDI's latest offshoot. AF is meant to support (ex)volunteers in their funding and implementing projects they support during or after their stay/work in India. For partners in India it is also an instrument that enables them to find (new) sponsors and donors to invest in their projects. And for donors to find the implementing agencies they need to realize their social targets/harvest their profit/social ROI
